Often referred to as the ‘Green Island’, Pemba Island is located within the Swahili Coast and forms part of the Zanzibar Archipelago.
Pemba differs from the well-developed Zanzibar, and is untouched and undiscovered which adds to the island’s charm.
The coast is lined with mangroves and lagoons. Pemba can be accessed by air and is connected by Dar es Salaam, Arusha and Zanzibar. Activities in Pemba Island include snorkelling, a visit to the local museums, a trip to the Kidike Sanctuary and many more.
