There are 14 bugalows, consisting of designer tents, set under makuti (thatch) roofs on wooden decks and each with a view over the sea. The rooms are equipped with large double or twin beds, mosquito nets, ceiling and standing fans, and indoor and outdoor seating areas. Each has an en-suite bathroom with fresh hot water shower, toilet and basin. All of the rooms are fitted with a call button for service as required at this Africa hotel.
The rooms are connected to the main buildings by wooden walkways or paths through indigenous forest. Some rooms are situated along the beachfront and the remaining on the hillside. All have amazing views, especially the ones on the hillside. The main areas are all built under thatch and are large and airy and overlook the sea.
Two of the fourteen bungalows are superior suites. These Superior Suites include the following services: secluded and rustic jungle hideaway for your privacy, it has a beachfront position with private access, spacious with a king size bed, stone built bathrooms with double showers, expansive decks with 3 meter plunge pool, private mezzanine chill out area with stunning ocean views, comfortable lounge area and room service between 08h00 – 18h00.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the main dining area or at the jetty bar with a three course lunch and dinner, all with a choice of dishes of the highest international standard. An amazing jetty stretches way out into the sea and the jetty bar is situated about a third of the way along, offering a wonderful place to relax. The barmen are happy to mix your favourite cocktail for you.
Tucked away inside the main area of the resort there is a Satellite TV room with low-level cushioned seating for those who wish to keep up with goings-on in the rest of the world. Outside on the balcony you can play pool and darts whilst being catered for from the bar.
The Boutique in Reception stocks a high class range of goods including our own Fundu Lagoon clothing and Apothecary products, a range of designer clothing by Ellis Flyte, cosmetics, jewellery, African artefacts and a small selection of toiletries.
