Nosy to Iranja (1 Day) This paradisiacal island, 30 sea miles south of Nosy Be, is in fact composed of two islands, connected by a dazzlingly white sandbank, which only emerges at mid-tide. To explore the beauties of nature and of the sea it is worthwhile to go there for the day.

Nosy to Mitsio (1 Day) The Mitsio archipelago, north-east of Nosy Be, is composed of 40 islands, some of which are tiny, tiny, volcanic rocks and coral reefs, only visible by low tide. The lonely beaches, with their fine sand of crushed corals are dazzlingly white.

Nosy to Tanikely (1/2 Day or 1 Day )

In the National Marine Reserve of Tanikely Island you will discover gorgeous colourful corals and coral fish while swimming alongside with turtles in shallow water. It is also an excellent spot for diving, especially for beginners, who will get their ‘dive-baptism’. From the lighthouse one has a wonderful view of Nosy-Be.

Nosy to Sakatia (1/2 Day or 1 Day) Sakatia Island with its beautiful deserted beaches and its orchids growing on the hillsides, lies right opposite the hotel Corail Noir.

Nosy to Fanihy (1/2 Day or 1 Day) By speedboat it takes just 30 minutes to get from hotel to tiny island of Nosy Fanihy. The beach is full of beautiful shells. While diving or snorkelling you can admire lovely corals and amazing coral fishes.

Nosy to Komba (1/2 Day or 1 Day)Nosy to Komba is the realm of the black lemur. The females are honey or auburn coloured, whereas the males are pitch black. These elegant, nimble creatures, whom you can hand-feed with bananas, live there in groups in a small nature reserve.

Walking the North road of the island, you can reach Ambatoloaka, a typical fishing village and then Dzamandzar, the second largest village of the island. Here there is a distillery and the sugar factory which produces from 10000 to 15000 ton of sugar cane sugar per year - AND an excellent Rum.

A walk by the Lake road, takes you to the highest point on Nosy Bè - Mont Passot (315 m). From here you can take in the splendid vista from Mitsio islands in the north to Nosy Iranja and Radama islands in the south. Take a camera! You’ll regret it if you don’t.
